A Durood is a kind of prayer and blessing that we sent to our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), In the Quran, Allah says that he and his angels sent the durood to his Prophet (P.B.U.H) and orders us to recite/sent Durood to our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Allah subhana wa ta’ala has revealed to us certain phrases that if we recite the rewards are tremendous. Greater then you and I can imagine. We should realize the rahma (mercy) of Allah. In Surah Baqarah, verse 185 it says, “Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.”

God is the Light of the heavens and the earth.
