The Translation: “Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.”
According to the hadith in Sahih Bukhari, it shows that this dua was sufficient for Prophet Ibrahim (may peace be upon him). It was narrated by Ibn ‘Abbas who said:
The purples and gold in this painting is a sure winner for any composition. I love the hues that are giving a natural healing effect and the Ayah itself is so soothing.

On the Edge of a Forest
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
In this forest, I am with my tribe of wood and leaf, among the giants that hug the earth. It is a place of my refuge with the sweet smell of flowers and the soothing sound of water and songs of the birds, forever embedded in the air.
A hug of browns, a shelter of extended limbs resting beneath the foliage.
I am in love with this painting, especially in the scorching heat of the long summers.
Upon the forest floor, lies the leaves, fallen in storms long forgotten, but still beautiful. All of this natural composition is what makes this painting, a piece of art.

Daroud
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
A Durood is a kind of prayer and blessing that we sent to our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), In the Quran, Allah says that he and his angels sent the durood to his Prophet (P.B.U.H) and orders us to recite/sent Durood to our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Durood Ibrahim is one of the most recited durood, as it is also recited in the Prayers after the Attahiyat.
In this beautiful painting, “Durood”, we Pray to Allah to send Peace and Blessings upon Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and his Family.
I have incorporated lots of geometric patterns and metallic colors to enhance the overall magical effect.

Lost in the Old City
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
“ Lahore” is not just a city, for me, it is my roots and my childhood. The daily hustle of the ancient city brings a kind of life that is hardly seen in other parts of the world.
I can still hear the “ ice cream Wala”! What a joy! We would eagerly wait for his voice and would run wildly to grab an ice Lolly.
The “ Basant” heralds Spring and with it comes kites and non-stop fun. The rooftops are a complete pallet of every vibrant color!!!

Winding through the Purple Desert
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
Sedona's main attraction is its array of red sandstone formations. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The red rocks form a popular backdrop for many activities, ranging from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails.
Nestled in the heart of Arizona is the small desert town of Sedona. It is well known for its beautiful landscape, iconic red cliffs, and desert juniper forests. The tall and carved cliff sides create stunning views and epic outdoor adventures. We can thank weather and the earth’s natural cycles for all of it. Artistically speaking, Sedona is a gold mine.
I am in love with this place and crave to go to this place, again and again. This painting always reminds me of the abundance of natural beauty.

Basking in the Sun
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
Everyone has a place where they go to escape all the pressures and worries of life. There is always that one spot that can mellow all your problems and soothe troubles in times of stress. For me‚ the beach is the ultimate cure to all of my problems. While I am there‚ all of my obligations suddenly vanish. As I stroll along‚ I can feel the soft smooth sand beneath my feet. As I take in the soothing atmosphere that encircles me‚ I close my eyes‚ letting myself absorb the warming rays of the sun.

The Glorious Sea
The waves, the beautiful, calming waves. Their resonance, their slow rolling and crashing, their white caps cresting over and plunging back into the water fully display the beauty and majesty of the creation of Allah Swt. The beauty of the waves isn’t just in looking at them, but in being beneath them. Here, underneath the waves in the ocean, is a breathless reality, something amazing, where you can explore another life around you to find or discover something.
This painting depicts the same breathless reality, the abandonment of self and the realization of the sublime soul that we very often loose in the humdrum of our mundane life.
I can spend hours comprehending the most complex enigmatic beauty of the oceans! Join me!

An Escape
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
This boat that is my land amid the water, is as bright as the last berry of summer. I feel the wind, gusting with the tempo of a fiddle, dancing with long and short bows, punctuated by soulful silence. I watch the billowed sail, rippling the same as the water around, always ready to propel us onward. Under this rising sun I have watched the mast shadow grow and fade, yet it is a pale form of darkness and nothing at all to compare to the brilliance of stars in the night. “There may be shadows in the sunlight, my love, but there will always be stars at night.”

Hiran Minar
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
Hiran Minar also Known as “The Deer Tower” is an early 16th-century Mughal-era complex located in Sheikhupura, Punjab.
Moreover, the complex was constructed at the site of a game reserve in honor of Mughal Emperor Jahangir’s lovely antelope her name was Mansraj. The Emperor is famous for his fondness of nature, and his complex embodies the Mughal relationship between humans, pets, and hunting.
I love the tranquility in that place as it’s away from the noise of the city. The cool waters are very peaceful.

Badshahi Mosque
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
The Badshahi Mosque was constructed by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb between 1671 and 1673 and was the largest mosque in the world. The mosque is an important example of Mughal architecture, with an exterior that is decorated with carved red sandstone with marble inlay. It remains the largest mosque of the Mughal-era. and is now one of Pakistan’s most iconic sights.
I am thrilled to paint this mosque as it is a great reminder of Muslim rule over the Subcontinent.
I have many childhood memories that are relived every time that I see this painting.

Reflections on the Edge of a Snowy Woodland
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
The winter palette’s colors are vivid though subdued. A snowy winter landscape reveals a range of icy colors, from crystal-white hills and fields to creamy yellow sunlight on snow to the light blue-purple of shadows or the silvery blue-gray of tiny brooks. The tans, browns, and forest greens stand out against a white backdrop. On the horizon, these colors make a winter blue sky all the more tingly and brilliant, or at other times serene.
