Reflections on the Edge of a Snowy Woodland
$800.00
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.
The winter palette’s colors are vivid though subdued. A snowy winter landscape reveals a range of icy colors, from crystal-white hills and fields to creamy yellow sunlight on snow to the light blue-purple of shadows or the silvery blue-gray of tiny brooks. The tans, browns, and forest greens stand out against a white backdrop. On the horizon, these colors make a winter blue sky all the more tingly and brilliant, or at other times serene.

The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; ROBERT FROSTThe inspiration behind this painting is the poem quoted from Robert Frost. I am always mesmerized by the imagery of an enigmatic forest where there are two roads, like the choices we have in life. A thought-provoking landscape that can actually take is to time travel !!! The inspiration behind this painting is a visit to the Rocky Mountains. The hills are decadent with green and blue foliage as if wearing a rich royal garment with new buds springing and a sparky of wild roses and daisies.
Oh! How I love to be there again and again.
The winding road vanishing behind that mysterious grove is another untold story!

By the Lake

Looking at this painting the wind seems to whip through my hair, knotting it beyond belief, as sprays of water splashes me in the face. Sunshine beat down on all of us, helping to warm us all. Laughter drifts about on the boat as we all enjoy ourselves.
I can gaze at it for hours with my coffee and unwind the troubles of the day.

Winding through the Purple Desert

Sedona's main attraction is its array of red sandstone formations. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The red rocks form a popular backdrop for many activities, ranging from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails.
Nestled in the heart of Arizona is the small desert town of Sedona. It is well known for its beautiful landscape, iconic red cliffs, and desert juniper forests. The tall and carved cliff sides create stunning views and epic outdoor adventures. We can thank weather and the earth’s natural cycles for all of it. Artistically speaking, Sedona is a gold mine.
I am in love with this place and crave to go to this place, again and again. This painting always reminds me of the abundance of natural beauty.

On the Edge of a Forest

In this forest, I am with my tribe of wood and leaf, among the giants that hug the earth. It is a place of my refuge with the sweet smell of flowers and the soothing sound of water and songs of the birds, forever embedded in the air.
A hug of browns, a shelter of extended limbs resting beneath the foliage.
I am in love with this painting, especially in the scorching heat of the long summers.
Upon the forest floor, lies the leaves, fallen in storms long forgotten, but still beautiful. All of this natural composition is what makes this painting, a piece of art.

Basking in the Sun

Everyone has a place where they go to escape all the pressures and worries of life. There is always that one spot that can mellow all your problems and soothe troubles in times of stress. For me‚ the beach is the ultimate cure to all of my problems. While I am there‚ all of my obligations suddenly vanish. As I stroll along‚ I can feel the soft smooth sand beneath my feet. As I take in the soothing atmosphere that encircles me‚ I close my eyes‚ letting myself absorb the warming rays of the sun.
