On the Edge of a Forest

$600.00

Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas.

In this forest, I am with my tribe of wood and leaf, among the giants that hug the earth. It is a place of my refuge with the sweet smell of flowers and the soothing sound of water and songs of the birds, forever embedded in the air.
A hug of browns, a shelter of extended limbs resting beneath the foliage.
I am in love with this painting, especially in the scorching heat of the long summers.
Upon the forest floor, lies the leaves, fallen in storms long forgotten, but still beautiful. All of this natural composition is what makes this painting, a piece of art.

In the Marsh

Landscapes
$200.00
A thin wet sky, that yellows at the rim, And meets with sun-lost lip the marsh’s brim. The pools low lying, dank with moss and mould, Glint through their mildews like large cups of gold.
Emily Johnson beautifully captures the spirit in her poem, “Marshlands”, the essential message of this gorgeous painting in oil pastels. I feel drifting along the wetlands without any purpose except pure golden bliss. Medium: Oil pastels on pastel sheet. Size: 18x24

Down, down down

Landscapes
$600.00
The milky white clouds floating in the howling wind match the chalky white color of the snow, scattered all over the colossal mountain. The forceful wind is blowing a gale like a hurricane providing us with an intrepid journey ahead. The jagged rocks are like sharp knives piercing my feet through my thick leather boots. I am staggering up the vast mountain through the overruling wind that is gently brushing past my face. I am in love with this slow drifting snow… going down, down…..down” Size: 24x48

Basking in the Sun

Landscapes
$600.00
Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas. Everyone has a place where they go to escape all the pressures and worries of life. There is always that one spot that can mellow all your problems and soothe troubles in times of stress. For me‚ the beach is the ultimate cure to all of my problems. While I am there‚ all of my obligations suddenly vanish. As I stroll along‚ I can feel the soft smooth sand beneath my feet. As I take in the soothing atmosphere that encircles me‚ I close my eyes‚ letting myself absorb the warming rays of the sun. Size: 24x36

The Road Not Taken

Landscapes
$800.00
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; ROBERT FROST
The inspiration behind this painting is the poem quoted from Robert Frost. I am always mesmerized by the imagery of an enigmatic forest where there are two roads, like the choices we have in life. A thought-provoking landscape that can actually take is to time travel !!! Medium: Acrylics on professional gallery-wrapped canvas. Size: 36x48
