A Durood is a kind of prayer and blessing that we sent to our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), In the Quran, Allah says that he and his angels sent the durood to his Prophet (P.B.U.H) and orders us to recite/sent Durood to our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Durood Ibrahim is one of the most recited durood, as it is also recited in the Prayers after the Attahiyat.
In this beautiful painting, “Durood”, we Pray to Allah to send Peace and Blessings upon Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and his Family.
I have incorporated lots of geometric patterns and metallic colors to enhance the overall magical effect.

Allah subhana wa ta’ala has revealed to us certain phrases that if we recite the rewards are tremendous. Greater then you and I can imagine. We should realize the rahma (mercy) of Allah. In Surah Baqarah, verse 185 it says, “Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.”

A sublime and subtle combination of geometric patterns and multi-media glass beads and stones brings out a gorgeous contrast of color and shapes. The natural hues of earthly tones mingle with the sharp brightness of pure white against a dark background.
I have used pallets knife for the crystal beads pouring from the top of the canvas downwards symbolizing the many blessings of Allah SWT.

God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. Ya Ghaffar
The Forgiver, The Ever-Forgiving, The Most-Forgiving.
Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ is Al-Ghaffar (in Arabic: ٱلْغَفَّارُ), He sees our sins and disobedience, yet He still forgives and accepts the repentance of the sincere. He shows never-ending compassion and forgiveness, no matter how big or small the sin. He is the most forgiving and loves to forgive.
This painting is inspired by Persian motifs and Moroccan mural art. The intricate vines entangling and reaching up to the heavens for mercy and forgiveness.

Ar Raheem
AR RAHEEM (The Merciful)
MEANING: He who acts with extreme kindness.
The name Ar-Raheem (in Arabic: ٱلْرَّحِيْمُ) comes from the same root as Ar-Rahman which refers to Allah’s attribute of being Merciful. Although similarly related the meanings are different. Ar-Rahman can be understood to refer to Allah as the origination/source of all mercy, whereas Ar-Raheem refers to its sustaining/infiniteness. Some view the name of Ar-Raheem as being merciful to His creation deserving of mercy (primarily the mercy reserved for the believers).

Bismillah
The Basmala, or Tasmiyyah, is the titular name of the Islamic phrase "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful". It is one of the most important phrases in Islam and is used by Muslims mostly before starting "good deeds" as well as beginning of most daily actions.

YA HAYYU YA QAYYUM BI RAHMATIKA ASTAGHEETH
Anas bin Malik said: “Whenever a matter would distress him, the Prophet (ﷺ) would say: ‘O Living, O Self-Sustaining Sustainer! In Your Mercy do I seek relief (ya hayyu ya qayyum birahmatika astaghees).” And with this chain, that he said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Be constant with: “O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.
